Ledezma Earns Player of the Week Honors After Big PSV Performance

Richie Ledezma has been named the Americans Abroad Player of the Week after a standout performance for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie. The 21-year-old midfielder scored a stunning goal and assisted on another as PSV beat FC Groningen 6-0 on Sunday.

Ledezma's Goal and Assist

Ledezma opened the scoring for PSV in the 12th minute with a superb left-footed strike from outside the box. The goal was his second of the season and capped off a fine team move.

Ledezma then turned provider in the 37th minute, setting up Cody Gakpo for PSV's third goal. His perfectly weighted pass found Gakpo in space, and the Dutch forward made no mistake with his finish.

Ledezma's Impressive Season

Ledezma has been in excellent form for PSV this season, making 10 appearances in all competitions. He has scored two goals and provided three assists, helping PSV to the top of the Eredivisie table.
